The Montana Drag Racers Association promotes safe competition and encourages all Montana racers and dragstrips to work together to promote and organize drag racing in the state of Montana.  The MDRA administers the state points racing series that encourages racers to travel to all of Montana's dragstrips.  Participants compete for points on designated race dates for cash, special trophies and prizes, and bragging rights.  There is an annual convention held in February to discuss new rules and programs for the upcoming racing season and an awards banquet honoring the previous year's winners.
